Partner Organisations

Consuming the City is presented in cooperation with three Amsterdam-based partner organisations:

Drukwerk
The Centre for Urban Studies is one of 20 designated Research Priority Areas of the University of Amsterdam. It brings together urban scholars in human geography, planning, sociology, political science, and international development studies.

The Proto City is a platform founded in 2012 by seven students from the Research Master’s in Urban Studies at the University of Amsterdam. The blog is a platform for young and experienced academics, practitioners, students, and urbanists to share their research.

Pakhuis de Zwijger is a unique cultural organisation that opened its doors in 2006 and grew out to be an independent platform for and by the city of Amsterdam and her inhabitants.
