Rosanne Nieuwesteeg (Bsc) studied Interdisciplinary Social Sciences at the University of Amsterdam and is currently enrolled in the research master Urban Studies at the same university. She is interested in cultural and creative industries, local urban movements (bottom-up initiatives) and developments of local production and consumption in cities. The topic of her master thesis consists of alternative food networks in cities. She currently researches the relationship between quality and place in production and consumption at food markets in Berlin and Amsterdam.
