Catherine Mock is a graduate Student at the City University of New York Baruch College, studying Public Administration. Born and raised in California, her Chinese and Filipina family roots are grounded in farming and tending the land in the South Bay Area of northern California. Passionate about delving deep into the social inequities in cities, she would like to further explore how urban food systems can address issues of class and race with food security issues on the rise.
The Proto City is where young urban researchers share their work with the wider world. We are always looking for talented writers and would love to hear your ideas.
